Durrell has served churches in full-time ministry since 1993. He was ordained in Metropolitan Community Churches in 1997, and was incardinated into the Old Catholic (independent) priesthood in 2006. On September 1st, 2006, Durrell joined the staff of the Sunshine Cathedral as the Canon Precentor. In the summer of 2007 he was elected as the new Senior Pastor and on November 3rd, 2007 he was installed as the Senior Pastor of Sunshine Cathedral.

The Cathedral offers Sunday morning worship each week at 9 AM and 10:30 AM and offers a Midweek Worship Service on Wednesdays at 7 PM in the chapel. To learn more about Sunshine Cathedral, visit www.sunshinecathedral.org.
